ETR Associates' Laura Norvig Contributes Article on Nonprofit Website Development to National Organization

ETR Associates' Laura Norvig, the Technical Services Librarian for the Resource Center, a national website for the Corporation for National and Community Service, recently contributed an article to Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN) titled "Building and Supporting Your Drupal Website: In-House, Outsourced, or Both?" NTEN is a 12-year-old national membership organization of nonprofit technology professionals, based in Portland, Oregon. In the article, Ms. Norvig shares her substantial expertise with NTEN members around the decision processes involved in building, maintaining and hosting nonprofit websites, and discusses how to make the decision about in-house development versus outsourcing, or, as she suggests, how to do "a little of each."

Ms. Norvig has been with ETR Associates for over 12 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge in taxonomy, information architecture, search quality and usability in website development and management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies from UCSC, and a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.
