ETR Associates Announces Launch of New Adaptation Kits and Self-Study Programs

ETR Associates announced the availability of three new adaptation kits for two evidence-based interventions, All4You! and Draw the Line/Respect the Line, and one clinic-based program, the Safer Sex Intervention, developed by Lydia Shrier, MD, MPH, Children's Hospital, Boston. Certified health education specialists (MCHES and CHES) and family life educators (CFLE) can earn professional credits by successfully completing self-study programs based on these kits.

Funded by the Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) and subcontracted to ETR Associates by JBS International, Inc., ETR Associates' Center for Sexual and Reproductive Health Promotion worked in conjunction with the program developers to create these adaptation kits, which give program implementers practical tools and resources to make effective adaptations without sacrificing program fidelity. Previous adaptation projects funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) helped build ETR's expertise in this field.

Adaptation kits for All4You!, Draw the Line/Respect the Line and Safer Sex Intervention are available free of charge on the ETR Associates' Resource Center for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (ReCAPP) website along with kits from the CDC Adaptation Guidance Project. Self-study programs are also available on the ReCAPP website at: http://recapp.etr.org/recapp/index.cfm?fuseaction=pages.ProfessionalCreditsHome
