Biography

Limairy Rodríguez, MPH (she/her/ella) is delighted to join the team at ETR as the Youth Centered Health Designer. She will be supporting the coordination of the project INSPIRE+ to enhance youth health and wellness among their communities.
 
Prior to working at ETR, Limairy held a variety of programmatic roles, including in Alameda County’s Public Health Department where she worked with young people in the City of Oakland to address tobacco-related health inequities via health education workshops and local policy campaigns. Most recently, she worked at Benioff Children’s Hospital where she coordinated a behavioral health screening program for the hematology and oncology departments to better support mental health outcomes among pediatric patient groups. Limairy has extensive experience providing health education services, collaborating with multiple and diverse stakeholders, and managing and evaluating public health programs and initiatives. She is passionate about centering BIPOC communities’ voices to address health inequities and supporting their resiliency by shifting power imbalances.
 
She earned her BS in biomedical sciences from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and her Master of Public Health with a concentration in health and social behavior from the University of California, Berkeley.
