National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is March 20, 2016National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NNHAAD), held on March 20th is a nationwide effort designed to promote HIV testing in Native communities through educational materials and use of marketing strategies.

The goals are to:

* Encourage Native people to get educated and to learn more about HIV/AIDS and it's impact in their community

* Work together to encourage testing options and HIV counseling in Native communities

* Help decrease the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS. 

CISP is one ot the organizations working to enhance the planning and delivery of services related to NNHAAD, as well as to coordinate the development of NNHAAD educational and marketing materials.
