Social Media Coordinator
Candy Guinea (she/her) is a social media professional and documentary filmmaker. In her previous social media work at AC Transit, an Oakland-based public bus agency, Candy worked to increase the agency’s engagement and presence in various social media channels. As a filmmaker, she works to amplify the voices and experiences of BIPOC communities, particular queer and Latinx communities.
In her role as Social Media Coordinator at ETR, Candy creates science-based, inclusive content for several alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs (ATOD) projects, including the Tobacco Education Clearinghouse of California (TECC), the Tribal Community Coordinating Center (TCCC), Rural Initiatives Strengthening Equity (RISE), and the California Clean Air Project (CCAP). Candy also provides marketing support for these ATOD projects through newsletter, webinar, and marketing email development and execution.
She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Cinema degree from San Francisco State University. Candy resides in Sacramento, CA with her wife and their toddler.
