Biography
Brigitte Bishop is an Accountant at ETR. She is responsible for ETR’s Payroll accounting, administration and processing as well as working as the primary staff accountant on some of ETR’s grant funded projects.
In 2010, while completing an associate degree in Accounting at Cabrillo College, she was hired as the Finance Manager and full charge bookkeeper at the Santa Cruz AIDS Project, where she worked until their merger with Encompass Services of Santa Cruz in 2012. Thereafter, she worked for a number of years as a General Ledger and Fixed Assets accountant at Uplift Services, formerly EMQ (Eastfield Ming Quong): a California based nonprofit agency focusing on support and mental health services for foster children and at-risk minors. Uplift Services is nationally recognized for their encompassing care model for vulnerable youth and is a leader in the children’s mental health field. During 2016, Brigitte worked at the Scotts Valley Water District as their Accounting Specialist, where she was responsible for the district’s general ledger, payroll and fixed asset accounting, before being hired by ETR in January 2017.
Brigitte brings extensive experience in general ledger, payroll, fixed asset, and government grant accounting to ETR. She is currently completing her BS in Accounting at Southern New Hampshire University.
