Tobacco Retail Availability

Rural Californians face higher exposure to tobacco products and marketing than urban residents. ROAR believes that all Californians deserve a fair chance for a healthy life protected from the harms of tobacco use and availability. Unfortunately, rural communities often experience higher rates of tobacco-related illness, limited access to cessation resources, and increased density of tobacco retailers.
