ETR Associates' Director of Research Reappointed Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford School of Medicine

Stanford University School of Medicine recently announced that ETR Associates' Director of Research Erin Cassidy-Eagle, PhD, has been reappointed as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences for the period of September 1, 2011, to August 31, 2014. In this role, Dr. Cassidy-Eagle will continue her research and teaching collaborations with Stanford faculty and students in the area of geriatric mental health.

About Erin Cassidy-Eagle: Dr. Erin L. Cassidy-Eagle received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is a licensed clinical geropsychologist, with extensive experience working with older adults, and specialized training in conducting cognitive-behavioral interventions. After completing her clinical internship at the Palo Alto VA Health Care System, she completed a two-year postdoctoral clinical research fellowship through the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Cassidy-Eagle joined the staff of ETR Associates in the summer of 2007 as Director of Research. She has extensive experience in conducting clinical and research work in long-term care settings, including working as a nursing assistant. She has over 35 publications detailing her investigations and trainings in the areas of geriatric depression, anxiety, and Alzheimer's disease and its associated behavioral manifestations, along with other topics in the area of aging and mental health.
