About ETR

Founded in 1981, ETR Associates is a private, non-profit corporation.

Mission Statement

ETR Associates’ mission is to enhance the well-being of individuals, families and communities by providing leadership, educational resources, training and research in health promotion with an emphasis on sexuality and health education.

Purpose

ETR Associates is committed to helping children, young people and adults and their families and communities develop attitudes and behaviors that contribute to optimal health and well-being. Because the adoption of healthy attitudes and behaviors is complex and influenced by a multitude of personal and environmental factors, we believe that a variety of efforts is needed encompassing both health education and health promotion interventions. We also believe these efforts should be based on sound research and evaluation.

Bridging research to practice, ETR Associates is dedicated to developing and disseminating evidenced-based programs and best practices.
