Biography

Samuel B. Black, MPH is the Tribal Engagement and Outreach Coordinator with the Tribal Community Coordinating Center at ETR. Prior to working with ETR, Samuel worked with Urban Indian health clinics in Phoenix, AZ, and Denver, CO. He is passionate about addressing the health disparities impacting Indigenous populations and empowering communities to achieve health equity. Samuel earned a bachelor’s degree in Native American Studies and Anthropology from Dartmouth College and a Master of Public Health degree from San Diego State University. He is originally from Northern Arizona and is a member of the Navajo Nation.
