Lesson 20: Decide to Be Safe


This lesson helps students apply a simple decision-making process to situations that involve safety.

Lesson Objectives

Students will be able to:

  1. Identify situations where a decision about safety needs to be made.
  2. Determine if help is needed to make a decision related to safety and injury prevention.

Time: 40 minutes

  • S-5: Avoid safety hazards in the home and community.
  • S-6: Recognize and avoid dangerous surroundings.
