ETR's
Training Cadre
ETR
provides training on a variety of programs for small and large groups
across the country and internationally. ETR is able to provide this
service by using a combination of staff trainers and consultant
trainers from an established training cadre.
The
training cadre consists of trainers who:
- come
from a variety of cultures
- are
living in a variety of geographical areas
- have
a variety of health content specialties, and
- have
direct experience educating youth
Training
cadre consultants are contacted when training opportunities arise
and provided with information about the group needing training as
well as detailed instructions for leading the training. Travel expenses
are covered by ETR, and cadre trainers receive consultant fees based
on the specific training. For most trainings, cadre trainers are
paired with staff trainers.
Cadre
trainers benefit by improving their training skills, making connections
in different parts of the country, earning extra money, and being
part of ETR's team. To become a member of the training cadre, you
must demonstrate your training skills and attend an ETR Training
of Trainers (TOT).
