NGO Web Forum on Health Disparities

On Thursday May 10, 2007 ETR hosted the first ever NGO web forum. The three hour forum continued the discussion in addressing health disparities. It was divided into three one-hour sections:
- Hour 1 - Q&A with CDC
- Hour 2 - Discussion about Strategies for addressing health disparities and what NGOS are doing right now
- Hour 3 - Discussion around barriers and/or challenges NGOs face in addressing health disparities.
We had 30 participants signed up to participate. This was a free flowing temporary listserv where NGOs could share success stories, barriers, and challenges and ask CDC questions. You can download the transcript here.

5, 2008 ETR hosted the follow-up web forum on SLIMs. The goal of this webinar was to review SLIMs and to strengthen the capacity of NGOs to support SEA/LEA in the implementation of SLIMs. Materials from the webinar are available for download below:
