2011 was momentous for those of us involved in the HIV fight.  We have a year under our belts of working to realize the dream of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, we have seen innovations in treatment and we have lost some powerful leaders in the struggle for health equity and justice.  World AIDS Day is a chance for us all to honor the loved ones who have dedicated themselves to the struggle and to remind our communities that HIV is still a force to be reckoned with.

No matter where you are, there are most likely some very exciting and informative events happening in your area.  And if you’re in the Bay Area like Tabono CBA, there’s lots of ways to get involved! Below are some links to help you find the event that is right for you.

If you can’t make it to an event, you can still honor World AIDS Day and your community by getting tested, doing your homework on HIV and encouraging your friends to do the same!

In community,

The Tabono CBA Team
