Welcome to the California keepin' it REAL project!

Middle school administrators, teachers, after school programs, and health educators — you are in the right place to learn about receiving free materials and training to implement keepin' it REAL — a multicultural, evidence-based substance abuse prevention curriculum.

Study in Progress —
no longer recruiting new participants.

The California keepin' it REAL Project is partnering with educators of 6th to 9th grades to implement the curriculum in the fall of 2007. The project provides:

  • free keepin' it REAL curricula, videos and student workbooks;
  • free training to keepin' it REAL; and
  • stipends of $250 for educators.

Students benefit by participating in a program that works! The project benefits by learning more about educator fidelity to the curriculum. Learn more in About the Project. Learn more about benefits of participating in Details for Participation or contact us.
