HS Tobacco Utilization Prevention Education (TUPE) Project

Description

The overall goal of the HS Tobacco Utilization Prevention Education (TUPE) Project is to increase the capacity of participating high schools to implement tobacco prevention education and cessation readiness programs into their comprehensive school health programs.

Each participating school has formed a Health Promotion Committee to plan and implement programs for the general student population, students “most at-risk,” and current tobacco users. ETR assists with collecting and analyzing evaluation data (process and short-term impact) related to these program activities.

This is part of a larger project: SFUSD - School Health Programs Department Evaluation Project.
