ETR Associates Announces New Chief Executive Officer

After an extensive national search, the ETR Associates Board of Directors has announced the selection of Daniel McCormick as the agency’s new chief executive officer, effective June 1, 2012. “Mr. McCormick is a highly regarded executive who has held senior leadership positions at several national organizations, and we have no doubt he will bring the same passion, drive and vision to ETR Associates,” stated Ms. Pua Aiu, president of the ETR Associates Board of Directors.

Mr. McCormick brings a diverse background as a health care and business executive to ETR, having held president and CEO positions at numerous organizations, including Brighton Hospital, an affiliate of St. John Providence Health System in Michigan; and Hazelden Foundation, an internationally renowned organization involved in addiction treatment, research and publishing, and Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital, both in Minnesota.

He comes to ETR from the position of managing partner of the Chancellor Group, a national health care management and consulting firm based in Minneapolis that provides strategic and operational guidance to leading national health systems, academic medical centers, and addiction treatment and recovery organizations.

Mr. McCormick, who holds an MHA in health care administration and a BS in business finance from the University of Minnesota stated, "I feel privileged and honored to be joining ETR Associates, a world-class organization, and am looking forward to working with their highly committed team of professionals.”
