Bill Sawtelle has been working on the Tobacco Education Clearinghouse of California (TECC) project in the distribution and customer service area since October 2002. TECC is part of ETR’s Knowledge Information Management (KIM) department. He currently works as a customer service representative and distribution administration assistant for TECC. In addition to assisting customers who call to order or inquire about educational resources, Mr. Sawtelle’s major duties include working with the TECC web coordinator to maintain resource information on TECC’s TobaccoFreeCatalog website and providing administrative support for the California Smokers' Helpline (CSH) Quit Kit project. Quit kits are assembled on a daily basis and sent to callers who contact the helpline for assistance and support in quitting their use of tobacco products.

Mr. Sawtelle also works with various San Francisco Bay Area nonprofits in their fund-raising efforts. For 17 years prior to joining ETR, he worked with local and national retailers in customer service, administration and management.
