Violence & Injury Prevention

Violence and injury preventionMore people ages 1 through 44 are killed or disabled by violence or injury than any other cause.

ETR believes that children, youth and adults can learn to take action to avoid the negative outcomes of violence and unintentional injury. We offer many resources that address violence and injury prevention topics, including bullying, cyberbullying, relationship violence, sexual harassment and conflict resolution.

Our research and intervention programs have examined the benefits of parent-child connectedness and linking at-risk youth to support services. We've also engaged at-risk youth through innovative mind-body awareness and physical activity programs, provided assistance for children exposed to violence, and offered tailored support for youth in the juvenile justice system.
