Mia Barrett, MEd, has worked at ETR since 2016, contributing to school-based and community-based evaluation projects in Minnesota, central Georgia, and the greater Philadelphia area. She worked as data collection coordinator on the FLASH Health Project as well as the Making Healthy Decisions Project.
In addition to her work as a research associate, Ms. Barrett works as a sexuality educator. She volunteers with an app that provides sexuality education to young adults through their smartphones. Prior to starting at ETR, she developed and implemented sexual health curricula for health care professionals. She is interested in furthering access to accurate sexuality education for all.
Ms. Barrett received her Master’s in Education in Human Sexuality at Widener University after earning her BA in cultural anthropology at the University of Montana.
