TECC Releases New Catalog

TECC Releases New Catalog

April 28, 2015 – The Tobacco Education Clearinghouse of California (TECC) has a new 2015 catalog available online and in print. TECC offers over 550 current, high-quality, affordable products covering tobacco use prevention, secondhand smoke exposure, smoking cessation and more.

View the catalog on the TECC website.

TECC materials are designed to reach a variety of age groups, populations and language speakers. Catalog descriptions identify the age-appropriate audience for many materials and clearly indicate whether materials are designed for a general audience or specific priority populations.

Most materials selected for distribution by TECC are reviewed by expert material review committees for cultural, educational and language appropriateness for the target audiences, and approved by CTCP.

There are over 30 new items, including resources on electronic cigarettes and the threat of secondhand smoke exposure.

TECC offers a wide selection of formats such as posters, postcards, books, signs, t-shirts, and much more. Most products can be customized with local contact information, quit line number or other unique message.

As the nation's oldest and largest tobacco education clearinghouse, TECC provides tobacco prevention and control information and resources to state funded projects, as well as other national organizations involved in changing social norms and behavior related to the use of tobacco products. TECC is funded by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), California Tobacco Control Program (CTCP) and is managed by ETR.
