ETR Associates' Video Finalist for 2011 CreaTiVe Awards

ETR Associates' award-winning video Before You Hit Send was a juried finalist in the recent 2011 CreaTiVe Awards, a salute to video makers in Silicon Valley, California. Hosted by CreaTV San Jose, the awards recognize filmmakers in several categories, from ultra-short to feature-length pieces. Before You Hit Send was a finalist in the nonprofit category.

Before You Hit Send is a 3-minute video that accompanies the ETR Associates' pamphlet Tech Confidential. Cynthia Lam, teen author for the acclaimed Sex, Etc., program at the Center for Applied Psychology at Rutgers University, collaborated with ETR's health experts to write both the pamphlet and video script. The video tells the story of three friends who learn, in a realistic and believable way, about some of the benefits and problems of texting, chatting and social networking.
